Split Type
Classic air conditioners (split type) consist of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. Multi air conditioners consist of one outdoor unit (usually of high power) and several indoor units, which is why they are also called multi.
This architecture has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that we only have one outdoor unit, whenever we do not spoil the aesthetics of the house by loading it with outdoor units on each side, and it is ideal for houses that do not have the possibility of placing many outdoor units. The disadvantages are that piping needs to be installed throughout the house, or at least in the rooms that will have indoor units, starting from where the outdoor unit is placed. If the distances are long then we inevitably have losses which consequently translate into an increase in consumption.
So if you are looking for an air conditioner for a single room, you should go to the category of air conditioners If you want an air conditioning solution for your entire home or office, then you are in the right category.
